What’s in store for Ellie Lovett Artist in 2020?

Updated: Dec 8, 2022

First blog of the year and its February already! I can’t quite believe where January has gone but there you have it. We’re into February, it was Valentine’s Day yesterday and my daughter is now 2 years old!

I think this year is going to be really exciting so I thought I’d do quick blog to update you all and to share some events, exhibitions and plans I’ve got ahead of me this year.

I’ve been working on some new figurative drawings which I’m finding fascinating to create and truly enjoy the process. There’s something about these drawings that depicts a shyness with faces looking into the distance, are quite calming but they are also open to interpretation. These could be anyone, in their own world, in their own thoughts. I think many of us can relate to the scenes. They are all on my Etsy shop if you want to take a look.

Recently I’ve also worked with some professional printers on doing some replicas of my bigger canvases and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they have turned out. These are also on Etsy – not that I’m plugging what art is for sale or anything! :-)

This month also sees me running a children’s art class in half term which I’m truly excited about. I can’t wait!
