Sunshine, art exhibitions and exciting plans....
Well it's been an exciting and busy May month, with lots going on and it really feels like there is slowly becoming a little bit of a buzz around with shops reopening and gallery space being made available amongst other opportunities that I'm sure will coming up for artists, creators and crafters like myself.
And to top it off we're rocking into June with some beautiful sunshine and warm days.
I wanted to share just a few of the successes I've had in May and going into June.
I'm really excited and so proud to share that one of my lovely festival inspired canvases 'Festive Vibes' is semi-finalist in an virtual art exhibition with The Artist Lounge UK, part of King Gallery in Stratford upon Avon. Artists who submit their work get the chance to be selected as finalists and have their work physically exhibited. I'm so pleased Festive Vibes is a semi-finalist and in for a chance to be a finalist - how brilliant would that be!
They are also releasing there first art magazine with all artists featured which is so fantastic. if you are interested in the magazine or having a look at the online virtual exhibition, here are the links below.
You can view the virtual exhibition here
You can view the digital magazine and pre-order your hard copy through @theartistloungeuk on Instagram
If you would like to read more about what inspired me to create this piece, you can read my other blog about the painting here.
I've also took part in an online competition which is running for the next few months with company Wraptious. Wraptious support artists to get their talent seen and their artwork promoted. They create your artwork into prints and cushion covers, provide assets to help you promote the products, and set up a shop page so you can encourage likes, shares and sales to your product page. All for free! You keep all the copyright and get commission from any sales. Plus, they also plant 3 trees for every purchase!
For the competition, I chose some of my high-quality close up shots of one of my festival paintings for my products as part of the competition.
Any likes, shares and sales to your product page are classed as votes. The more votes you get, the more chance you have of winning.
Likes and shares through Facebook count towards votes. If you would like to support me visit my recent post, hit the link to my Wraptious shop and click the Like or Share buttons. I'd really appreciate as many votes as possible - so a big thank you for doing this to help me.
Want to buy a product? You can view the products and purchase a festival inspired cushion or print here. I hope you love the products! I'm really pleased with them and think they look so striking and unique.
Bye for now
